In this curriculum, you will learn about algorithms, bias, artificial intelligence, machine learning, direct instances where algorithmic bias has been identified in services provided by global companies, how algorithmic bias is identified, as well as an understanding of privacy policies and terms of service.
Highlighted in the course is the effects that algorithms and technology have on our society behind the scenes. Algorithms have the power to influence real-world decisions, beliefs, and our environments. We have designed this course to give you a strong foundation for understanding algorithms and their effects. Understanding the effects that technology is having on you already is the first step to understanding how to solve and identify these ethical issues.
